Just when I thought I would not buy another checked blazer, this one showed up. To be fair, I blame my friend Beverly for running late to meet me. This then caused me to have to “kill time at Zara” like we all do, which led me to discovering this blazer slash dress of a beauty.
Do you know how crazy I was for this item?! I searched all of Oxford Street and the Regent street branch to find a size XS. When those options were exhausted, I went to my favourite Zara of them all – the Duke of York Square branch. The locals know about, whereas the very few tourists who even venture to Kings Road have no clue where it is, as it is hidden at the back of the square. Might I say, I love that and hope it stays somewhat anonymous because it means thousands less Londoners for me to worry about snatching up an item I covet.
Enough rambling. Here is how I styled the blazer. I wore it as a dress, with over-the-knee boots which are just perfect for my skinny legs and opted for an old-time favourite bag from Georgian brand Seven Eleven.
