The Lion Park South Africa

Hello from South Africa ! I have not blogged in a while because I was in the middle of packing for this trip to Johannesburg, but now I am here and hope to update you as much as possible while I am here. Internet connection has been my number one enemy, but other than that, all is good. And speaking of good things, today my cousin and I went to visit some cute little cubs at the Lion Park. It was a great opportunity to play with what technically will grow up one day to be a dangerous predator, but for the time being, it was fun been scratched and chewed by these cute little things !

Open 365 days a year, you have access to these fury little bundles of joy !
There are several cages where they are kept, depending on their age. The bigger they get, the less safe they are for the public. In other words, you are one fashionable piece of meat !
The trickiest part is getting their attention. My cousin had better luck, though later on I got to play with one on top of a huge rock.
It’s important to wash your hands after holding them, unless you want to smell like a lion cub, then that’s cool.
I kept my look simple because if experience has taught me anything, it is that lion cubs love biting and pulling at objects, and I wanted to wear something that I wouldn’t mind getting ripped or chewed at.
If you ever get a chance to visit Johannesburg, go cuddle with some cubs and check out the Lion Park’s website  here.
